In her work, she has a concentration on using EMDR with PTSD, trauma, anxiety, and grief, as well as a general clinical practice. Her passion for EMDR motivated her to get involved in the EMDR membership organization, EMDRIA.
Having seen the powerful positive impact of EMDR on many clients, Zona joined the Board of the EMDR International Organization, as a means of demonstrating and increasing her commitment to EMDR throughout the world. She is a Past President of the EMDR International Association, and sees the organization as a source for spreading the benefits and knowledge of EMDR throughout the United States. Currently, she has been devoting her volunteer efforts to EMDR-HAP and has recently become a HAP trainer in EMDR.
Regardless of her professional activities, Dr. Scheiner maintains a sense of adventure and exploration-she constantly seeks to improve and diversify her clinical skills in order to provide the best treatment for her clients and training for her consultees.
